Looma — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 06/08/2026

The short version

Looma is built to be private. We don't make you create an account, we don't collect your name or email, and your saved scans and style preferences live on your phone — not on our servers. The one thing that leaves your device is a photo you choose to scan, which we send to be analyzed and then don't keep. That's it. The rest of this page explains the details.

Who we are

Looma ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile app developed by looma_dev. This policy explains how the Looma app handles information.

What we don't collect

What stays on your device

Your saved scans, your style preferences, your "style DNA", and your history are stored locally on your device. We don't upload or store them on our servers. If you delete the app — or tap "Delete my data" in Settings — that data is gone.

What leaves your device, and why

When you scan an item, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service and to third-party AI providers so the item can be analyzed and your result generated. Specifically:

Subscriptions and payments

If you subscribe to Looma:

Service providers we rely on

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its part of the service.

Data retention

Your choices and rights

You can delete all of your data at any time, directly in the app: open Settings and tap Delete my data. This permanently removes your saved scans, style preferences, and history from your device. Because your data is stored on your device, this fully erases it — there is no separate account on our servers to delete.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and LGPD (Brazil), including the right to access or delete personal data. The in-app Delete my data option satisfies the deletion right directly. For any other question, contact us at looma.app2026@gmail.com.

Children

Looma is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will help.

Security

Information sent from the app travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information in transit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date above.
